Lassen Peak is currently looking for a part-time or full-time employee to oversee the cross-functional Agile teams for the hardware and software elements of the Lassen Peak product. Consultants will be considered, as well. The role will include:
* Creating and maintaining detailed and management-level schedules.
* Constant interface with Marketing to ensure that sprint priorities align with the product vision and market needs.
* Holding marketing, engineers, and outside consultants accountable to timelines and deliverables
* Managing sprint prioritization and scheduling and overseeing software licenses, contracts, and vendors as necessary.
* Leading sprint planning meetings and regular stand-ups or check-ins, as needed, to ensure completion.
* Coordinating scoping, scheduling, SOWs, testability, quality, and budgeting.
* Reporting: weekly management reporting and presentations as needed.

You will be joining a world-class team of Marketing, RF, Hardware, Software, SaaS, and AI developers in an exciting new early-stage startup that will revolutionize the contentious and dangerous physical security procedure of a “pat-down” with a safe from a distance and more accurate virtual search. We are looking for a proactive self-starter who is passionate about meeting or beating timelines, budgets, and expectations and is enthusiastic about the space we are in.

The position is in either the Bellevue, WA or Los Gatos, CA areas and carries with it a very competitive salary, benefits, and equity package in an extremely exciting early-stage startup.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficient with Agile / SCRUM methodology and project management tools.
  • Proven success leading, tracking, and managing product specs and SOWs to ensure the team stays on schedule and on budget.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and software engineering techniques, and design processes.
  • Experience with:
    * User tracking and analysis tools
    * Road mapping software
    * Software contract negotiations
    * Vendor and consultants research, comparisons, and selections
  • Great communications and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel between Bellevue, WA and Los Gatos, CA, as needed, and work on-site at least three (3) days a week.

Additional Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with electronics, mechanical, and industrial design houses
  • Understanding of embedded system software/firmware architectures

Estimated Compensation Range and Benefits

  • Pay ranges based on education and experience: $78K – $140K
  • Benefits include medical, dental, life and AD&D insurance, casual time off, and paid holidays.
