Lassen Peak is hiring a Marketing Specialist to assist the Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Executive Officer with our rapidly expanding marketing and business development efforts. Being an early-stage startup, this person will be exposed to many different aspects of marketing and the role will leverage the person’s prior experience, while offering significant upside for the right individual.

Founded in 2019 by an accomplished Silicon Valley entrepreneur and venture capitalist and an accomplished Professor of a major university, you will be joining a world-class team of individuals in an exciting new company that will revolutionize public safety procedures through a proprietary technology never before possible.
The position is located in the Bellevue, WA area and carries with it a competitive salary, benefits and equity package in an extremely exciting early-stage startup.


  • Support the CMO and CEO through the organization and administrative support for various marketing and business development efforts to include supporting the development of our pilot and training program, marketing materials, trade shows and customer events, and more.
  • Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Twitter, LinkedIn, and other channels that may be deemed relevant. Develop engaging content with input from the business leaders and maintain a content calendar approved by the CMO. Run regular social promotions to increase engagement and visibility among target groups.
  • Establish analytics to monitor Key Performance Indicators on social media engagement, website traffic and other marketing and business development efforts, in order to continually refine our processes.
  • Facilitate strong communication and information sharing between marketing and other areas of the business.
  • Assist with other activities as directed by the CMO and CEO.


  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and ability to keep up with the rapid pace of a start-up.
  • Strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom and Bonus skills: HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience working in the public safety industry a plus, but not required.
